About Me

I'm Anonymous, dealing with middle school one chaotic day at a time. I am here to vent and tell some stories, to make your day just a tiny bit better.

Overcrowded Hallways - My First Ever Blog

This is my first-ever blog. Hope this helps with school life, and helps you stay in one piece.

Crowded hallways are unavoidable occurrences in school. You make it out of your most boring history class, which leaves you exhausted. You need a break. After all that, you aren't allowed to take a breath of fresh air! It is insane that you can't breathe in school. You know you need a gas mask to survive the school halls, but the government saved those for the army. Why are they more important than us? I digress.

What I try to do is wander around the school when everyone is blocking the halls, but I run the risk of being late to P.E since my school only has four-minute transition times. However, even on the rare occasion I make it more than five seconds before the bell, I still can't get to my gym locker because the other boys keep on shoving each other against it, and they even block the way to it! I can't store my instrument away from these lunatics! My P.E locker has gotten jammed 5 times, and there is no sign of that ever stopping.

What makes it unavoidable is that the same hallway that leads to the P.E hallway with locker rooms and the gym, also leads to the cafeteria, band classrooms, and many other elective classes. In my school, everyone is required to take P.E and two electives. I have P.E right after my first period - History. Because of this, I find it nearly impossible to get a 100% in P.E, even though it seems like everyone else has no problem doing so. It is not my fault that the school start times are too early. Did the government officials even read the studies? It would help teachers get the rest they deserve, and the same for us!

Unfortunately, there is really nothing you can do about this. However, wearing a gas mask and carrying a small portable oxygen tank can help.
